Meridian & Co is a residential agency whose team has spent more than two decades selling, letting and managing apartments in city-centre buildings, first in Liverpool and Manchester and now in cities across the UK. We set it up so that buying or selling a finished apartment could be as straightforward, and as safe, as it should be.
The team behind Meridian & Co has been selling city-centre apartments since the mid-2000s, when buy-to-let in Liverpool city centre barely existed as a market. Between them they have sold thousands of apartments in the buildings you see on this site, worked alongside the developers who built them, and stayed close to the managing agents, lenders and solicitors who keep them running.
Meridian & Co exists because those buildings now have second owners, and second owners deserve a specialist. Investors who want to sell need an agent who already holds live buyer enquiries for their building. Buyers need a finished apartment with the numbers in the open and someone who can explain them. Both are better served by people who know every floor plan, every service-charge budget and every managing agent by name than by a generalist with a window on the high street.
We are based in Liverpool, at The Summit in the Baltic Triangle, and we currently sell apartments in Liverpool, Manchester, Salford, Wigan and Luton. As owners in other cities come to us, the list grows.
Meridian & Co is a new name with an experienced team behind it. This is what that experience is made of.
Our team has sold apartments in most of the buildings on this site since they were first launched, and many of them more than once. We know which floors and aspects sell quickly, what buyers ask about each building, and where the asking price needs to sit for a sale rather than a listing.
We have watched the city-centre lettings market through every cycle since the mid-2000s: which buildings let, at what rent, to whom, and how service charges have moved. That history sits behind every rent and running cost you see on this site, and it is why our figures are current, not projected.
Members of our team have worked on the developer's side of these schemes, from funding and construction through to handover and management. We have sat through the same conveyancing, lender and managing-agent conversations that buyers and sellers now face, so nothing about the process surprises us.
Property is a large purchase made infrequently, usually with people you have never met. Everything about how we work is designed to take the uncertainty out of it.
Most of what we sell is finished, occupied and managed, so you can stand in the apartment, read the service-charge accounts and see the actual rent before you commit. Where we offer homes in buildings under construction, they are marked as such, and the completion dates are the developer's own.
Every asking price is on the page and dated. Rents are current passing rents, not projections. Service charges and ground rents sit beside the price. If a figure is an estimate, we say so.
Our team has worked with the managing agents, solicitors and lenders in these buildings for many years. When a question comes up about a lease, a service-charge budget or a mortgage valuation, we usually know who to call and what the answer will be before we ask.
Deposits and completion monies pass through your solicitor, never through our account. We are an estate agent, not a financial adviser, and we do not hold client funds.
One consultant from first call to completion, reachable by phone, email or video, who knows the building you are buying or selling in. Escalation to senior management is a phone call away.
Every price is on the page, dated, with the running costs beside it. We do not make you call for a number.
Completed buildings are shown as they stand. Where a building is still under construction, the images are computer-generated and labelled as such. No stock photography.
If an apartment is not right for you we will say so. Rents are current, not projected. Returns are shown with their basis or not at all.
In person for vacant apartments, by video for let apartments or for buyers overseas. We arrange access with the tenant and the managing agent so you do not have to.
Meridian & Co is an estate agent and does not provide financial, investment or tax advice. Property values can fall as well as rise. Company registration, redress scheme membership and client money protection details will be published here before the site goes live.
